We live on the East and West coasts and in between, living deep and sucking the marrow out of life (except for the vegetarians, they just lick the bowl). Generally updated Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Lea Hannah
Pithy motto: “Life is too short to eat bad food and drink poor wine.”
Lea graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2008, and spends a lot of time talking about the weather, the current state of her herb garden, and the foods she’s eaten, is currently eating, or is planning someday to eat. She is a co-founder and manager of the the RealFood Williamsburg Community Co-op, a partnership of farmers, college students, and community residents dedicated to making sustainable food more accessible for everyone. Most Sunday mornings feature brunch at her place, so feel free to bring over some OJ and join in.

Micha
Snarky yet nurturing: “Eating seasonally and locally, drinking raw milk, and praising the fruits of the vine are ever present ways to show the world you really give a damn about its welfare. But I do it because it’s tasty, too.”
Micha is a Culinary Institute of America graduate and displaced East-Coaster living in Seattle, WA. She loves everything to do with the study of wine and oenology (but not the hangovers). When not cooking or thinking about food and wine, she might be reading a book on Tudor history or researching the mating habits of jellyfish off the Great Barrier Reef. A dedicated if slightly inept knitter, Micha plans to knit a pair of gloves as soon as she figures out how to stop knitting scarves. She works as a chef in a retirement community.
